As of May 25, 2018, European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaces the 1995 Data Protection Directive.

To comply with GDPR, LINE Pay has updated LINE Pay Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) accordingly and prepared LINE Pay Privacy Policy Addendum for GDPR (“Addendum for GDPR”) to better protect personal data of users in EU (European Union). The Addendum for GDPR is applied to users in EU only.

Should you wish to continue utilizing LINE Pay services through LINE Pay Japan、there is nothing else that you must do.　In this regard、please note that if you do not terminate your LINE Pay account before 9 February 2018. you will be deemed to have consented to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy that is issued by LINE Pay Japan、which will act as the service provider of all LINE Pay services provided to you henceforth.

En su esfuerzo por proteger de manera más segura los datos de tarjetas de crédito y de transacciones de los usuarios, LINE Pay adquirió la certificación PCI DSS (norma de Seguridad de datos de la Industria de tarjetas de pago).

[Sobre la certificación PCI DSS]
PCI DSS es la norma de seguridad para procesar tarjetas de crédito definida por el PCI Security Standards Council, organismo fundado por cinco marcas globales de pago y se reconoce como el requisito primario para cualquier empresa de la industria de las tarjetas de pago.
La PCI DSS se compone de los seis objetivos siguientes:
- Generar y mantener una red segura
- Proteger los datos de los titulares de las tarjetas
- Mantener un programa de administración de vulnerabilidades
- Implementar estrictas medidas de control de acceso
- Monitorear y probar regularmente las redes
- Mantener una política de seguridad de datos

La certificación PCI DSS para proveedores de servicios se clasifica en dos categorías, Nivel 1 o Nivel 2. A fin de que un proveedor de servicios pueda adquirir un Certificado de PCI DSS Nivel 1, dicho proveedor de servicios debe cumplir con los requisitos de análisis de red además de los 12 requisitos de seguridad que un Asesor de seguridad certificado (QSA, por sus siglas en inglés) evalúa completamente.

LINE Pay adquirió la certificación por cumplimiento de PCI DSS Nivel 1 mediante la evaluación minuciosa por parte de un QSA, que de esta forma conviene en que LINE Pay cuenta con medidas de seguridad establecidas y que las hace cumplir con el fin de proteger no solo la información de las tarjetas de pago de los usuarios, sino que también su información personal en un entorno seguro garantizado por prestigiosas marcas globales de pago.

Con el fin de proteger y administrar de manera segura sus datos personales y otra información fundamental, LINE Pay obtuvo la certificación para sistemas de gestión de la seguridad de la información ISO/IEC 27001.

[Acerca de ISO/IEC 27001:2013]

ISO/IEC 27001 es una norma internacional para sistemas de gestión de la seguridad de la información desarrollada por la Organización Internacional de Normalización (ISO) y la Comisión Electrotécnica Internacional (IEC). Esta certificación es una de las más acreditadas a nivel mundial.

La norma de seguridad de la información ISO/IEC 27001:2013 corresponde a la versión revisada de la norma ISO/IEC 27001:2005, a la cual sustituye, y consta de 114 controles clasificados en 14 áreas, como políticas y organización de la seguridad de la información, control de acceso, criptografía además de seguridad física y medioambiental, entre otras.
