As of May 25, 2018, European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaces the 1995 Data Protection Directive.

We are writing to inform you that LINE Pay Corporation、a Japanese entity("LINE Pay Japan")、shall replace LINE Biz+Pte.Ltd.、a Singapore entity as the LINE Pay service provider、with effect from 9 February 2018.

Should you wish to continue utilizing LINE Pay services through LINE Pay Japan、there is nothing else that you must do.　In this regard、please note that if you do not terminate your LINE Pay account before 9 February 2018. you will be deemed to have consented to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy that is issued by LINE Pay Japan、which will act as the service provider of all LINE Pay services provided to you henceforth.

However、if you do not agree to change your service provider to LINE Pay Japan、please terminate your LINE Pay account before 9 February 2018.　If you terminate your LINE Pay account、please note that all of your personal information relating to the LINE Pay service stored in LINE's servers will be deleted unless required by law.

[Acerca de la certificación PCI DSS]
PCI DSS es la norma de seguridad para procesar tarjetas de crédito definida por el PCI Security Standards Council (fundado por cinco empresas de pago mundiales) y se reconoce como el principal requisito para toda empresa que opere en el sector de las tarjetas de pago.
La PCI DSS consta de los seis objetivos siguientes:
- Producir y mantener una red segura
- Proteger los datos del titular de la tarjeta
- Mantener un programa de gestión de vulnerabilidades
- Implementar rigurosas medidas para control de acceso
- Supervisar y probar las redes con regularidad
- Mantener una política de seguridad de datos

La certificación PCI DSS para proveedores de servicios se clasifica en categorías de Nivel 1 o Nivel 2. Para que un proveedor de servicios pueda obtener un Certificado de PCI DSS de Nivel 1, este debe cumplir con los requisitos de análisis de redes y con los 12 requisitos de seguridad que un QSA (asesor de seguridad certificado) evalúa de forma concienzuda.

LINE Pay obtuvo la certificación por cumplimiento de la PCI DSS de Nivel 1 gracias a una rigurosa evaluación realizada por un QSA, que de este modo conviene en que LINE Pay ha establecido y hace cumplir medidas de seguridad con el fin de proteger la información de las tarjetas de pago de los usuarios además de su información personal en el entorno protegido asegurado por reconocidas empresas de pago mundiales.

LINE Pay obtuvo la certificación para sistemas de gestión de la seguridad de la información ISO/IEC 27001 con el propósito de proteger y administrar de manera segura la información personal y otra información fundamental de los usuarios.

[Sobre ISO/IEC 27001:2013]

ISO/IEC 27001 es una norma internacional para sistemas de gestión de la seguridad de la información que fue desarrollada por la Organización Internacional de Normalización (ISO) y la Comisión Electrotécnica Internacional (IEC). Esta certificación cuenta con un gran reconocimiento a nivel mundial.

La norma de seguridad de la información ISO/IEC 27001:2013 es la versión revisada de la norma ISO/IEC 27001:2005, a la cual reemplaza, y consta de 114 controles clasificados en 14 áreas, como políticas y organización de la seguridad de la información, control de acceso, criptografía además de seguridad física y medioambiental, entre otras.
